Anastasia and … “Speaker”

Anastasia, Speaker’s CEO, shares her views about her work in general and translation projects in particular.

Personal details: My name is Anastasia Garanina. I live not far from Moscow. And our language school is in Noginsk, Moscow Region.

Q: Anastasia, why “Speaker”?

A: We set up Speaker in 2010 as language training classes. This was when we began training children and in the first few years we just wanted “to tell them a bit more” about English. Today we have course schedules to meet many time and day combinations. At the same time I wanted to continue working as a qualified translator and interpreter and we have already had several customers. And we launched our translation project.

Q: How do you evaluate Russian business future?

A: Now Russia is the country with growing markets. It becomes more and more interesting as a global business partner. But serious business communication is now impossible without professional translators and interpreters in Russia. Our professionals help to avoid many problems and negotiate successfully.

Q: Where do you work? And a few words about your experience.

A: In Moscow. We have our office in Noginsk, Moscow Region. We have experience in business, finance, engineering, banking and legal field. We also specialize in Russian Orthodox Church translations.

Q: What about your colleagues? Are they experienced in different subject areas?

A: Yes. And not only experience in translation. They have working experience in Russia as linguists, business and financial professionals who know Russian legal system as well.

Q: What is the most interesting thing in your work?

A: I like my language training classes and all our projects with clients.
